Claims to Travel agencies
A Package holiday sold by a travel agency is sold at a price that normally includes transport, accommodation and/or other services
The claim must be presented as soon as possible to the travel agent or intermediary. Although the law admits a maximum period of two years to file the complaint, it stands to reason that the sooner it is done, the less the evidence will have diluted.
If the claim is due to a transportation problem we claim to:
- Air transport: either with the company you have bought the ticket or to the General Directorate of Civil Aviation.
- Transport by rail, the procedure is similar to the previous claim. First before the company and should it not be resolved favourably the complaint becomes a normal administrative claim, in accordance with law 30/1992.
- An alternative route of claim regarding land transport is the transport arbitration board, provided the amount does not exceed € 6,000. Regulated according to law 16/1987 of July 30 of Land Transport Management.
